Obituary of Mary E. Velten

Rochester - Mary E. Velten, age 74

January 23, 1951 - March 9, 2025

Mary is survived by her son, Patrick J. Velten; her grandson, Patrik M. Velten; her 3 siblings, Deborah (Rick) Chick, Penny Buckman, and Kenny Buckman; and several nieces and nephews.  A special thank you to her niece, Heather for the love and care she gave while Mary was on comfort care.

Mary was predeceased by her mother, Jean; her stepfather, Ray Buckman; and her brother, Jacque Barber; as well as numerous seeing eye dogs that she loved dearly.

Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 10:30 - 11:30 am at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Avenue, Hilton, NY 14468, where Mary's Memorial Service will be held at 11:30.  Interment at Creekside Cemetery, 40 North Main Street, Churchville, NY 14428.
