Ronald S. Wilson Obituary

Hilton - Ronald S. Wilson passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2025 at the age of 80. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol "Sweetie"; his daughters, Heather (Devon) Cory and Laura Wilson;  Carol's daughters, Laurie (Ed) Hoover, Pam (Craig) Crandall, and April (Mike) Scanlan; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, loving family members and many friends in the community. Ron was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Marie Wilson.


Ron was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Army and served from 1966-68. He was the first manager of the original Mark's Pizza. From there he was the co-owner of Pleasure Lanes Bowling Alley in Hilton for many years. He ended his career as an HVAC technician. Ron was known as a great golfer and bowler. He had a love of dancing and traveling with his Sweetie. He treasured family time and all the food that came with it. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him in the community.


Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 4 - 7 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home in Hilton. Ron's Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, April 5th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 110 Old Hojack Lane in Hilton, where Military Honors will be presented. Interment will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
