I've known Dan since our high school years in Greece NY. We lived about a block apart but often spent time together. As life often happens, we went our separate ways. Then in our early 40s we reconnected at an industrial auction that Dan was having. From that point forward we remained good friends often visiting each other. Whenever we had a gathering or a function, Dan always came with arms full of food gifts (he loved to cook). My only regret is that Dan never had the opportunity to enjoy the winter months in Florida, for that was his big wish, but medical issues always got in the way.
