Obituary of Donald J. Pisher

Spencerport - Donald J. Pisher passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the age of 98. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ellen Witty Pisher, who passed in 2020.

Don is survived by his devoted family: his daughter, Kathleen M. (Royal) Stellrecht; his sons, Jeffrey L. (Joan), Steven E., David M., and Gary S. Pisher. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Tammy L. (John) Helfer, Eric R. (Tanya), Michael R., Hannah K., Andrew J. (Maria), Allyson E., & Jared M. (Tristan) Pisher, and Nathan McHugh; his great-grandchildren, Justin D. Stellrecht, Ellie L., Emilie G., John R., Joshua L. & Jack R. Helfer, Jacob V., Rachel A., Madison & Andrew Jr. Pisher, and Trinity & Aria McHugh; and his sister, Darlene Pisher Furda.

For many years, Don was the owner/operator of Ridgecroft Farms in Spencerport, a role that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication to his community. Outside of work, Don was a self-described “frustrated artist,” finding joy in creating cartoons and sketches. He had a deep admiration for the artwork of Norman Rockwell, whose storytelling style resonated with him. Don also enjoyed bowling and spending time at the Saratoga/Finger Lakes Horse Race Track, where he followed thoroughbred racing with enthusiasm.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 11am - 12pm, where Don's Funeral Service will take place at noon. Interment will be held in Parma Corners Cemetery.
