Linda's earliest memories were of military life when her dad was an MP in the U.S. Army at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and other posts. She had an adventuresome childhood in Parma Center, and went to school in Hilton. She began her married life with Jerry, her husband of 41 years, in Richmond, Virginia, before moving to Greece where they have resided for 39 years. Linda began her work life as a girl on the farms of friends and relatives. Before graduating from high school she worked as a cashier at the IGA grocery store.  After learning to keypunch  she worked for Sibley's, Kodak Office, and Kodak Advertising Distribution. After Brian was born, she relished the job of full-time mom until he started to school.

Linda was devoted to her family & her dog, Buster. Linda enjoyed camping & traveling with her family. She was a Cub Scout den mother and enthusiastically supported the Boy Scouts. Her interests included: traveling to natural wonders and historical places, reading about history, growing house plants, cooking, movies, crafts, music, and feeding and watching birds, squirrels, and deer in her yard.
