Obituary of Edward H. Bradford

Ocala, FL - Mr. Edward H. Bradford, 89,of Dunnellon, FL died on Sunday, February 7, 2021 in Ocala, FL.  He was born on December 10, 1931 in Lyons, NY and was the son of the late Evelyn Bradford.  Edward was a Veteran of the Army National Guard.  He was a former resident of Inverness, FL and had a summer home in Akron, NY at the Leasurewood Campground. Edward was a member of the Beverly Hills Horseshoe Club in Beverly Hills, FL and a Charter Member of the Hilton Snow Flyers Snowmobile club in Hilton, NY.  He retired as a machinist from Eastman-Kodak after 33 years of service and then worked in retirement at the Hilton Cold Storage and Dande Farms Golf Course in Akron NY. He enjoyed motorcycling, bowling, golfing, traveling both in the US and overseas to enjoy family and friends. 

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Lucille Bradford in 2005.  He is survived by his loving companion, Eileen Fox of 11 years; and formerly Laura Quinn; 3 sons, James Bradford (Laurie), Kurt (Mary) Bradford and Todd (Sharon) Bradford; along with his 2 daughters, Kathy Bradford and Dawn Bradford (James).  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Christopher (Sofia), Ryan (Kelly), Alicia (Caleb), Adam, Michael (Cassandra),Erica (Mike), Laurie (Greg), Jasmine and Ahmed; and 4 great-grandchildren.  

Edward's Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at 10:00 am, at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton, NY, where there will be Military Honors following his service.  Interment will follow at Rose Cemetery, 4400 State Rte 414 North Rose NY 14516.
