We are so very sorry for the loss of Bill.
He truly was a great friend and neighbor. Always there to help, nothing ever he wouldn't do.
He and my Dad would sit at our kitchen table every Sunday and drink coffee. We would come home from church and there the (self professed heathens) would be. They came up with some pretty cool ideas during their Sunday times. Bill built steps for houses, he didn't own a truck back then, Bob had an old truck so they delivered steps Bill would build.
Dad was a bit older and he had this same horrible affliction. But he always knew Bill, he would wander over to visit his friend. I remember pulling in the driveway one day, Bill had Bob's hand and was gently bringing him home.
Bill decided to mow Bob's lawn when Dad couldn't do it anymore. He continued to take care of it till he himself could no longer do things alone.
I remember Bills wonderful humor, we had a ramp installed for Dads mobility one day I was leaving, walking down the long ramp, I heard a voice, "There she is, Miss America"! Bill being silly, making me laugh.
Up to the end he was smiling. You know right now, I bet Bill and Bob are drinking coffee eating ice cream and talking about old times.
God Bless thank you for all that you did.
