Obituary of Anthony D. Gaudino
Greece - Anthony D. Gaudino passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at the age of 93. He is survived by his wife, Joan [Contino] Gaudino; his sons, Daniel Gaudino, Anthony (Linda) Gaudino and Gerald (Jennifer) Gaudino.
He is predeceased by his brothers, James (Mary), Louis (Teresa), Samuel (Grace), Cosmo Jr (Patricia), and Joseph (Terry) Gaudino; his sisters, Mary Utter, and Carmela Kelly (Richard). His only surviving sibling is Immaculate (Joseph) Uttaro. There are many surviving nieces and nephews.
Anthony was a veteran of the US Navy, having served from 1948 – 1953 and the Marine Reserves. His career found him working construction with his father and brothers at Gaudino Construction Company. He then moved on to supervising at Kodak for over 35 years. He enjoyed traveling and bowling. He was an avid bingo caller and volunteer at many different local organizations. He enjoyed many years at their winter home in Melbourne Beach Florida - also donating many hours of volunteering at different local organizations. He led a long, blessed life with his wife, family, and friends both in Rochester and in Florida. He was loved by everyone he met.
Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, July 28th from 4 - 7 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue in Hilton. Tony's Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, July 29th at 9:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo, 3003 Dewey Avenue in Rochester. Entombment at Christ our Light Mausoleum will follow with Military Honors in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
