Obituary of June E. Tipton

Hilton - June E. Tipton passed away on October 10, 2022 at the age of 96.  She was predeceased by her parents, Clark and Grace Wakefield Rodwell; her husband, John Richard Tipton; her son, Jeffrey Tipton; and her brother-in-law, T. Foster Cole.  She is survived by her children, Steven (Darlene) Tipton, Susan Sterken, and Melissa (Jeffrey) Mannion; her grandchildren, Braden Palmer, Maureen (Matt) Stroud, Emily (Doug) Minster, Danielle (JR) Holley, Courtney (Axel) Engle, and Shane Mongan; her great grandchildren, Brianna, Emma, Kayla, RJ, and Savannah; her brother, Bruce (Margaret) Rodwell; her sister, Carol Cole; and her nieces and nephews.

June taught Elementary Education for Hamlin Central School in her younger years.  She loved her cats.  She enjoyed knitting hats and giving them to people in need.  She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family.  She was a die hard Yankees and Bills fan.  She loved watching the QVC channel and especially watched "In the Kitchen with David".  She had a collection of lock n lock containers.  She will be deeply missed by all. 

Friends and family are invited to attend June's Graveside Service on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 11:00 am at Hillside Cemetery, 4065 Holley Byron Rd, Holley, NY 14470.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mr. Grey's Strays, 18 East Avenue, Brockport, NY 14420-1502 in memory of June.
