Obituary of Richard C. Johnson
Hilton - Richard Carl "Dick" Johnson, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by his parents, Leslie and June Johnson; and his son-in-law, Joe Caluneo. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Doreen Howe Johnson; his children, Michael (Katie) Johnson, Emily (Dan) Koval, Errin Caluneo and Maggie (Ryan) Tortatice; his brother, Glen (Pat) Johnson; his sister, Sandi (Steve) Burkhart; his grandchildren, Maya, Sophie, Lizzy, Olivia, Lexi and Cara; his father-in-law, Al Howe; his brothers-in-law, Doug (Deb) Howe, Dennis (Karen) Howe, Dan Howe; and his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Dick was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a talented musician - playing guitar and singing in several bands in the area including Hot House and Two For the Road. He especially enjoyed the years of Friday night gigs at the Brook House with his extended family, the Fedele’s, Red and Billy, and the dearest of friends that he met along the way. He enjoyed tent camping, especially at Lakeside beach, and loved family trips to Niagara Falls. He also enjoyed playing golf and watching the PGA Tour, as well as being a fan of the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees. He will be missed by his many friends and his loving family.

Friends and family are invited to call Monday, October 24th from 4 - 7 PM at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue in Hilton. Richard's Graveside Service with Military Honors will take place on Tuesday, October 25th at 11 AM at Parma Union Cemetery.
