Obituary of Raymond C. Veness

Spencerport - Raymond C. Veness passed away on January 11, 2023 at the age of 96. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Toal Veness; his son, Randy Veness; his grandchildren, Joseph Raymond Serio, Amanda Serio (James) Campese; his sisters-in-law, Geraldine Ingham and Doris Toal; and several nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by his daughter, Roxie Serio; and his sisters, Elsie MacNaughton, Ruby Welch and Charlotte Elliott.

Ray was a Veteran of the United States Airforce. He was retired from Eastman Kodak where he was a group leader. Ray was a member of Parma-Greece United Church of Christ. In his leisure, he made canvas boat coverings. He enjoyed hunting, including big game, and loved to go fishing in Quebec.  

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton, where Ray's Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm. Interment immediately following in Parma Union Cemetery.
