Obituary of Thomas Hugh Coyle

Hilton - Thomas H. Coyle died peacefully surrounded by his family on January 11, 2023 at the age of 85.  He was predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Sophie Coyle; and his son, Todd Coyle.  He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children, Lisa Jaskot, Timothy (Kelly) Coyle, Michele (Stuart) Schwartz, Wendy (David) Osterhoudt; his grandchildren, Patrick (Kate) Whitman, Karly (Adam) Durst, Rachel Schwartz, Alison Schwartz, Joshua Osterhoudt, Emily (Jeff) Semple, Declan Coyle; his great-grandchildren, Penelope and Violet Whitman; his sister, Carolyn (Gordon) Gotts; and several nieces and nephews.

Tom was retired from Eastman Kodak Co., where he was a supervisor.  He belonged to St. Paul Lutheran Church.  He was a member of the selection committee of Hilton High School Athletic Hall of Fame.  He was a season ticket holder for the Red Wings, as he enjoyed baseball.  In his leisure, he loved listening to country music, reading books, collecting stamps and other collectibles, and anything to do with the Civil War.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton.  Tom's Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 158 East Ave, Hilton, NY 14468.  Interment in Parma Union Cemetery.
