Obituary of Linda A. Sanders
Brockport - Linda A. (Diedrich) Sanders passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her parents, Luther and Isabel Diedrich; her husband, Ernest Sanders (2020); her daughter, Lisa DeBellis; and her brothers, Richard Diedrich, Luther (Betty Lou) Diedrich, Robert (Dianne) Diedrich;
Linda is survived by her children, Deborah Wolck (Dave Hill), Susan (Brian) Jones, and Stephen (Linda) Sanders; her grandchildren, Adam Wolck, Micah Wolck, Leanne (Bill Metz) Showler, Shane (Christin Baube) Dusett, Nathan (Daria) Dusett, Kelly Jones, Katie Sue (Silvano) Bullo, Joshua (Alexa) DeBellis, Stefanie DeBellis, Ryan (Ali Marshall) Sanders, Stephen Sanders and Kyle (Macayle) Sanders; her 15 great-grandchildren; her brother, David (Kathy) Diedrich; her sisters, Mary (Dave) Schutte, Carol (Larry) Strauss and Joan (Lenny) Palmisano; her sisters-in-law, Pat Diedrich and Lucille Conley; her godsons, Robin Schutte and Jeff Diedrich; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Linda was born in Waddington, NY. She was the oldest of 8 children. Linda was a homemaker. Once her children went to school she worked many years at Perfecto Cleaners in Brockport NY. She was a life-long member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hilton. Her faith was very important to her. In her leisure, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, painting, art, cake decorating, square dancing with Ernest, and watching the Chicago Cubs.
Linda's Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, March 4th at 1:00 pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 158 East Avenue in Hilton. Interment will follow in Parma Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in memory of Linda to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 158 East Avenue, Hilton, NY 14468.
The family would like to extend their appreciation for the loving care given to Linda by her nurse, Joelle, and three aides, Morgan, Jane and Tracy. A very special thank you goes to Linda's granddaughter, Kelly, who lovingly and unconditionally cared for her over her last three years.
