I am so sorry to hear of Lori's passing. I first met her when she came to Kendall in 6th grade and we became fast friends. Her energy, transparency and love of laughter made her sparkle in my memories. Both of us having older sisters who were in the same grades and the struggles we shared over always having to be the baby sisters made us loud, dramatic and a bit devious. We shared our 1st and only encounter with the superintendent Mr. Doyle but her angelic face got us out of any trouble. When we hit middle school and high school we played sports but she seemed most comfortable as a cheerleader because she was always smiling and loudly encouraging. If I had to describe her it would be "pop rocks in a can of coke". Her explosive laughter and love of fun and irrepressible smile brightened my day more times than I can count. Our jr year we entered the Talent Show and won. Lori was one of our lead lipsync "vocalist's"and back up keyboardist with layered ironing boards. We won, not by talent but by audacity and comic relief. (Poor quality photo of our preshow below) I last saw her when she became a new mom and was so devoted to "Mikey " as she called him. She found her next role and it sounds like she shone in that too. Praying for God's comfort to overwhelm you with wonderful memories and gratitude of having her as wife, mother, daughter, and sister and friend.
