Hamlin - Charmian "Charm" L. Raimondi Sercu
Charm passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the age of 63. She was predeceased by her parents, Russell Sr. and Patricia (Herrick) Raimondi. She is survived by her children, Thomas II (Mariya) Sercu and Kathleen (Drew) Smith; her grandchildren, Kali Sercu and Sophia Deluca; and her loving companion, Timothy Clifford. Charm was born and raised in the Hilton/Hamlin area her whole life. She worked for companies like Marriott Corp. in Greece right out of school, raised a family and worked for 23 years at Eastman Kodak. She graduated from Hilton High School in 1979 and continued to reinvent herself as a manufacturing productions process mechanic which was a non-traditional job for women, working for companies like OATKA Milk, Birdseye Foods, Carestream Health, Pennant Bakery, along with many part-time positions at Spencerport and BOCES 2 schools, Federal Census Bureau, and waitressing. Charm had a vast career knowledge in many areas which exposed her to many people and situations that she grew from. Charm went back to school at RIT as an adult and had the distinction as the top part-time adult student with a 4.1 GPA, all while raising her family.
Charm always tried to think of the positives in life, even when struggling with major health concerns. She loved to travel, get together with friends and family, and loved them fiercely and quietly.
