Obituary of Lee Weed

Liverpool -Leland K. Weed, "Lee", passed away on September 18, 2024 at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Wake Weed; his children, Michelle (Rick) Chapman, Jeff (Amy) Weed, and Jim (Terry) Harris; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Chapman, Olivia Chapman, John (Kathy) Tooley, Jacob Weed, Tori Weed, Megan Harris, Julie (Grant) Steiger, and Jackie Harris; his great-grandchildren, Luke, Mya, and Logan; his brother, Larry (Joan) Weed; and his nieces, nephews and cousins. Lee was predeceased by his parents, Ward and Florence Weed; his brother, Ward (Ann) Weed; and his sister, June Heard.

Lee was a Veteran of the United States Army. He retired from General Motors - Rochester Products where he worked for 35 years. He was an avid hunter, especially for deer. He was a musician and a member of the Country Class Band, and enjoyed playing country music on his guitar. He also enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach during winters and playing golf. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. 

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Avenue, Hilton. Lee's Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 11:00 am in Lakeview Cemetery, Brockport, NY.
