Obituary of Robert M. Comstock

Hilton - Robert M. Comstock passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by his parents, Dayton and Charlotte Comstock; and his father-in-law, Alfred Wood. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Debra (Wood) Comstock; his children, Steven (Crystal) Comstock, Jennifer (Kevin) Templin and Kevin Comstock; his grandchildren, Brayden & Kitt Comstock, Noah & Lucy Templin, and Jenny Comstock; his mother-in-law, Dolores Wood; his brothers, Gary (Barbara) Comstock and James (Kim) Comstock; and his sister, Karen Comstock.

Robert was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was employed by M&T Bank as an IT specialist for many years. He owned a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle and was a member of the Gold Wing Group. He was a runner and a biker, and enjoyed kayaking on Lake Ontario. He also enjoyed woodworking as well as camping in his RV in the 1,000 Islands and Adirondacks. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Visitation will take place at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue in Hilton from 4 - 7 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025. Robert's Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Hilton United Methodist Church, 21 West Avenue in Hilton. Interment will take place in Onondaga Cemetery in the Spring.
